To pay tribute to the revolutionary work in improvisation and contemporary composition of composer-performer, Anthony Braxton, his former student and frequent collaborator, CalArts faculty Steve Lehman, has assembled a multigenerational collection of the most celebrated musicians in and around Los Angeles. Featured performers include Mark Dresser, Myka 9, Jonathan Finlayson, Mark Turner, David Rosenboom, Vicki Ray, Jonathan Pinson, Tim Feeney, The CalArts Percussion Ensemble, Nick Deyoe, The Ensemble, Paul Cornish, and Vinny Golia.
