David Rosenboom performs new works exploring propositional worlds utilizing live electronics and software, piano, electric violin, brains, & more. The program will be selected from recent works appearing on Rosenboom’s new double-CD from PARMA/Ravello Records: Portable Gold and Philosophers’ Stones (Deviant Resonances), The Right Measure of Opposites, Earth Encomium, Nothingness is Unstable and Music for Unstable Circuits (+Piano/+Violin). Rosenboom’s performance will the in the third set of the evening, proceeded by the groups Still House Plants and Sholto Dobie.
